Located on 50 acres in Kent County, Maryland, Worthmore Equestrian Center is a certified Maryland Horse Discovery Center. Through this, we are committed to providing you with the best service possible. We are here for your horse needs and customize the experience to make it fit you.
We are a full service equestrian facility specializing in groundwork, horseback riding, and full care horse boarding.Throughout the year we also offer camps, holiday events, and other horse and non-horse related events/activites. We aim to be more than just a 'horse farm'.
We work with people of all ages and all experience levels. Whether you're looking for a place to continue your riding lessons or you've never touched a horse but have an interest to, we are the place for you!
We also collaborate with a variety of organizations to fit every need for our riders.
Our Philosophy
At Worthmore we believe that the bonds and relationships we build are the foundation for success. We encourage our students to get to know the animals we work with, learn their personalities, what they do and don't like, and all the aspects that make them who they are both on and off the horse.
We are horse enthusiasts helping people in a progressive way. We believe animals (specifically horses) can help us in all areas of our lives. Every interaction we have here at our facility we believe can be used as a learning moment. We encourage our students to strengthen skills that can be used inside the barn as well as outside in their own lives.
